I once heard you needed to see the person you loved wet, cold, hungry, and tired before you got married. I'm not saying we necessarily need to see those things (I'm sure we will eventually though because we'll spend lots of time together) but we have to date for longer than a couple months before we decide anything. I think it's ridiculous to get married after barely knowing someone.. I know it might be true love, but it just seems rushed to me and like it's not the relationship that matters, but the physical aspect that matters more. I'm just not okay with that.

This is just too cute!! And I'm with you all the way! I knew my husband for 3 and a half years when we got married. We were long distance the whole time but it's amazing even how much we got to know each other while he was on his mission through writing! By the time we got married we had seen each other at so many different stages (hello, awkward teenager included!) and I think it's great! Love your blog :)
