Dear Future Hubby,

I once heard you needed to see the person you loved wet, cold, hungry, and tired before you got married.  I'm not saying we necessarily need to see those things (I'm sure we will eventually though because we'll spend lots of time together) but we have to date for longer than a couple months before we decide anything.  I think it's ridiculous to get married after barely knowing someone..  I know it might be true love, but it just seems rushed to me and like it's not the relationship that matters, but the physical aspect that matters more.  I'm just not okay with that.

I was reading my friend's blog.  And she said that when her and her boyfriend get serious (like engaged-serious) that she wants to have scripture study and nightly prayer with him each night.  I want that too.  Because it will set a good precedence for our marriage.

I don't like to boast of my spirituality.  I feel weird doing it.  I feel like it's something that's very personal to me.  I'll share things when I feel it's the right time to share them.  I've never born my testimony in a meeting besides those little campfire testimony meetings at girls camp, and even then it was weird and semi-awkward for me.  But I do have a testimony of the gospel and the joy it brings to my life.  I want you to know that more than anything.
